Spring Greens Potato Bake
We’re in the thick of green season right now, and I can’t get enough chard and collard greens! You can use either for this recipe, but I’m going to advise against kale because it may be a bit too chewy.

I just returned from the most amazing expedition adventure to Antarctica – the end of the world!
It’s commonly know that if you’ve been injured or hurt because of someone else’s negligence, you may be considering suing the person or company at fault as your injury might have had a significant impact on your life. But does that include food poisoning at a restaurant? (more…)
I, like most people on the planet, received an Air Fryer for Christmas. I’ve been playing with it over the past week and eating A LOT of cauliflower recipes. The first few tries fell flat, as I wanted a crunchy cauliflower exterior with a…
The Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expos are now called Nourished Festivals. In addition to the Gluten-Free & Nut-Free sections, they are adding Paleo, Keto & Plant-Based zones. Even in these new sections, all products at the Festival are gluten-free!

Moms are a busy bunch, yet many of us look for ways to make a little extra income to help supplement the family lifestyle. As children get older and are in school during the day, Moms look for part-time jobs, however, the hours don’t necessarily…
I removed meat from my diet about 20-something years ago. It used to be rough as a vegetarian in a sea of meat eaters. People used to ask, “What on earth do you eat then….twigs?” Yes, twigs….and bark (eye roll). Although I don’t eat meat, I still have a soft spot for fun snack foods like the original Takis. Thankfully, the years have passed and plant-based diets are very popular and there are some great tasty choices out there. There are even 100% vegan restaurants that are always packed with a line out the door, so talk about a movement! (more…)
A home is a place from which kids learn many things as they grow up. This is also where they get to experience love, care, and comfort. It’s no secret that I perceive my home as a safe abode in which I can comfortably raise…
Every holiday I can ever remember had pickled vegetables at our family gatherings. I’m not sure if the pickled food lends back to my German heritage, or my Southern roots from the Carolinas as both places seem to love their pickled vegetables! Pickled vegetables are great…
I was absolutely craving something lemony the other day, so this Greek-inspired ‘Lemon Leek Soup’ with rice hit the spot! I love lemon, so I added the juice from 3 large lemons. I also think fresh ground black pepper on top with the fresh dill brings this soup to life. (more…)
Hi, I’m Meg! 👋
Welcome to my corner of the internet, where wellness meets a weekend project obsession.
I’m a GenXer with a B.S. in Dietetics from Cal Poly, SLO, which is just a fancy way of saying I’m deeply passionate about plant-based eating and sustainable living—minus the rigid lectures. I care immensely about our planet, and I'm always on the hunt for the latest eco-friendly products, wellness innovations, and clean services that make living a healthier life just a little bit easier.
The twist? I’m also a total tech nerd. If a gadget can track my stats, optimize my day, or automate a chore, I’m all over it.
Whether you’re looking to green up your routine, find your next favorite home aesthetic, or just want to see what happens when a nutrition nerd tackles a new tech tool, you're in the right place. Let’s get creative!
