Celery Leaf Walnut Pesto Sauce

Celery Leaf Walnut Pesto Sauce

Stop throwing your celery leaves away! These typically discarded leaves can transform into a delicous and healthy pesto sauce!

Combined with walnuts, this tasty sauce also incorporates zesty lemon with hints of red pepper. Not only are you repurposing, but did you know that celery is an excellent source of vitamin K and molybdenum? It is a very good source of folate, potassium, dietary fiber, manganese, and pantothenic acid. Celery is also a good source of vitamin B2, copper, vitamin C, vitamin B6, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and vitamin A (in the form of carotenoids). Wow!
