Dr. Brite Non-Toxic Natural Wipes with Isopropyl Alcohol

Dr. Brite Non-Toxic Natural Wipes with Isopropyl Alcohol

Here we are into Fall and sadly it feels like 2020 is going to finish off with a bang, and by that I mean a ridiculously high amount of Covid-19 cases. Many of us have Corona Fatigue, but that doesn’t mean the battle is any less real. As we head into these winter months, I have been stocking (yet again) up on disinfectant products to help keep our surfaces clean. I am loving the Dr. Brite wipes for on-the-go cleaning. Available in three variations: Eucalyptus, Citrus or Un-scented, these wipes are infused with essential oils and are made with medical grade 70% Isopropyl Alcohol.

Why is this important? A 70 percent isopropyl alcohol solution dissolves their lipids and is effective against most bacteria and fungi and many viruses, including Covid-19. Anything HIGHER would actually be less effective because it evaporates too quickly which doesn’t allow it to penetrate cell walls and kill bacteria, and therefore isn’t as good for sanitizing hand.

Dr. Brite wipes are methanol-free, cruelty-free, vegan and non-toxic. They are also free of bleach and chlorine, so you can feel good about wiping off little sticky hands or commonly used surfaces like phones and keys.

As we are really trying to avoid as much public exposure as possible, I still do the bulk of my grocery shopping with a delivery service. These wipes are great for wiping down plastic and metal containers.

I also liked to leave a Dr. Brite packet of wipes in each car. The minute I hop in the car, I grab a wipe and clean my phone, purse handle, keys and anything else I’ve cross-contaminated with public germs.

I’ll also give a quick wipe to my car door handles (inside and out) and my steering wheel.

Many of us have Corona Fatigue, but that doesn’t mean the battle is any less real. As I am immune compromised, I simply can’t afford to let up on being vigilant on germs. Letting my guard down for just one day could be catastrophic to me, as my able to fight infection right now remains very low. This is super important to me because I want to KILL germs, but I don’t want to use toxic chemicals that could end up causing my family even more harm with overuse. I can feel confident using these surface wipes with my family in mind.

I’m a scenty type of gal. Dr. Brite does offer unscented wipes for those who have a scent-sensitivity, but I absolutely LOVE the fresh scents of the eucalyptus and citrus wipes. I know the wipes are doing a great job at sanitizing, but for some reason eucalyptus and citrus scents just make me feel clean too! There’s no funky chemical smell!

Dr. Brite is a California based company. It’s been a rough year for businesses everywhere, so it makes me feel good to purchase from a company that produces in the United States.  All wipes are manufactured and shipped right here from California, so they aren’t coming in from overseas like many online sanitation products are right now! They also use bamboo to make the wipes which is a better choice for the environment, as bamboo is a sustainable product.
