Holiday Chocolate Bark

Holiday Chocolate Bark

This festive chocolate combines winter fruit favs in a colorful citrus packed candy. Also, by choosing local fruits, you are cutting back on foods that require long travel and storage. This simple dessert features in-season pomegranate and oranges. Yum!

Serves: 8 people

Directions
  1. Over a double boiler or in a bowl in a microwave, melt chocolate until smooth. Add in 1/4 teaspoon powdered cardamom.
  2. On a waxed paper-lined baking sheet, spread melted chocolate in a thin layer.
  3. Sprinkle nuts, pomegranate seeds and orange zest over the chocolate. Very gently press toppings into the chocolate (but not all the way through).
  4. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours for the chocolate to set again. Break into shards.
