Low Sugar Gatsby Chocolate Review

Low Sugar Gatsby Chocolate Review

As a fan of low sugar Halo Top ice cream, I was super excited to try the new GATSBY Chocolate created by the same Halo Co-Founder. GATSBY touts that it is the lowest-calorie chocolate bar on the market, but how does it taste?

When I received the package of GATSBY bars to sample, I was a little hesitant to open them because they are GORGEOUS. Hello…LOOK AT THEM! Colorful with gold embossing; so fancy!

I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com) to use and post my honest opinions. This post may contain affiliate links.

Upon opening the Sea Salt Extra Dark Chocolate and breaking off a square, I noticed that the heat from my fingers started melting the chocolate instantly. Wow, this is REAL chocolate! I’ve tried other low-sugar chocolates and for the most part, they have the consistency of a brick. This GATSBY dark chocolate was creamy and had a melt-in-the-mouth texture, but the flavor was even more impressive. It was sweet and rich tasting but with no funny sugar alcohol or chemical taste. GATSBY Chocolate wisely uses allulose. Allulose is a rare sugar that naturally occurs in fruits like figs and raisins and it’s about 70% as sweet as sugar. Therefore the GATSBY Chocolate is low sugar at only 2 grams of sugar per serving!

Gatsby Chocolate Ingredients

GATSBY Chocolate somes in super tasty variaties: Sea Salt Extra Dark Chocolate Bar, Almond Dark Chocolate Bar, Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

The Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups should be illegal by the way as they were so delicious. I hid them from my family and I did eat both packs all by myself. Sorry, not sorry. These will go on my holiday gift-giving list for 2022 as who doesn’t love tasty chocolate but without all the unnecessary sugar? I’m going to get some for friends and family and some for me to go eat all by myself, guilt-free.

Just the facts

GATSBY’s Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups clock in at only 50 calories per cup, meaning that it’s the lowest-calorie cup on the market by far. In fact, GATSBY’s Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups have two times fewer calories than other peanut butter cups. Now you can enjoy two cups for the calories of one!

Typical retail value for GATSBY Chocolate include: $29.99 for a 6-pack of Almond Dark Chocolate, $29.99 for a 6-pack of Sea Salt Extra Dark Chocolate, and $24.99 for a 6-pack of Peanut Butter Cups.
