If you’re like me, you’re at home cooking the days away during this international pandemic. I’m trying to cook high quality nutritional meals for my family, which also made me think about WHAT I was cooking these meals in.
Now is a good time to re-evaluate our non-stick cookware to make sure that what we’re cooking with is a safe choice. I am really enjoying my Always Pan for a multi-tude of reasons! Not only is this pan durable, but it has non-stick ceramic coating that’s easy to clean. It’s also been tested to be safe for you and the folks around your table. The Always Pan is free of Teflon, PFOA, & PTFEs for peace of mind & body.
I’m a huge fan of one pot meals, and making a healthy soba noodle meal for my family is easy, tasty and clean up is a snap with the Always Pan.
I am able to saute’ my aromatics (ginger and garlic) before adding some diced fresh vegetables into the pan.
After the vegetables have softened, I add two cups of water and my noodles and seasoning.
The pan comes with a handy bamboo spoon that hangs from the notch on the pan handle which allow me to stir occassionally without making a big mess on my counter.
After simmering the noodles on medium heat for a few minutes, I stir in fresh green onions, sprinkle with sesame seeds and it’s ready to serve!
Cleanup is as simple as rinsing the pan out in hot soapy water and giving it a wipe with a clean dishtowel.
I also love the way the My Place Pan company Our Place conducts business. When my pan arrived, it was wrapped in 100% compostable packaging. Not a speck of plastic in sight!
The company’s cofounder, Shiza Shahid, is an impact leader who previously co founded the Malala Fund with Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai. I love WHO makes the pans as well – from small artisan workshops to third-generation businesses, the Always Pan is crafted in ethical factories that provide supportive environments and compensation to their workforce.
