BioKult Probiotics Review

BioKult Probiotics Review

I’ve recently had the opportunity to test the Bio-Kult products and as I had a trip to Costa Rica planned, what better way to test out probiotics than while traveling? Traveling often means complete digestive chaos for me as I get dehydrated on planes plus my eating and sleeping patterns are off due to time changes.

I packed up some packets of Bio-Kult and planned on taking 1-2 a day. I did take one when I arrived, but as expected I was still feeling quite horrible after 24 hours of traveling.  I do try to eat fresh fruits and vegetables while traveling, but even the smallest change in my sleep pattern throws me off for some reason.

Yes, I’m smiling, but after traveling from plane to plane, I started to feel horrible.

I felt bloated and uncomfortable so I took 2 tabs on day two I’m usually sensitive to probiotics so I was a little apprehensive about taking more, but the next morning everything worked out just dandy. Now would I stay on track?

I received this product for free from Moms Meet ( to use and post my honest opinions. This post may contain affiliate links.

Bio-Kult Original Multi-Strain Formulation is the UK’s number one probiotic supplement, containing 14 unique probiotic strains for digestive and immune support. * It’s also a vegetarian-approved product, so that was important to me.

After several days of hiking through a remote forest and over-indulging in food (albeit fresh and healthy), I was pleasantly surprised that I did manage to stay regular and on track for the remainder of my trip. I also shared sample packs with my husband and he had no digestive complaints which is unusual for him. He’s a man of few words on this subject, but when he’s not feeling great, I hear about it!

I would rate this probiotic as a gentle action one. Do not expect violent, complete clearing-out events. To me, this is ideal while traveling as I simply wanted to feel good and be regular, especially since we were out the door in the mornings and often had no access to the restroom for many hours while hiking. As I like to say, I did not want to rock the boat. Just stay afloat and that I did! The purpose of probiotics is to create and maintain a healthy gut biome, not smash through it with a wrecking ball.

Ok, so more about Bio-Kult. As a UK brand, I was not familiar with them prior to this test. It was nice to learn that the Bio-Kult product has been backed by over 30 clinical trials. They have been around and they know their sh*t! (See what I did there?)

This product targets the digestive and immune systems and has been proven to survive the high acidity of the stomach.* The bacteria in Bio-Kult help to reestablish and rebalance the gut microflora. Bio-Kult believes that having the confidence to take your everyday health into your own hands is something to be celebrated. Feeling great every day IS indeed something to celebrate!

If you have hit a block with your current probiotic regimen, or you’ve never tried pro-biotics before, I believe Bio-Kult is a consistent and gentle product.
