While most of the country is sweltering, we are still chilling here in San Diego in the low 70s. It feels a little odd to be so much cooler than the entire country, but I’m not complaining! I know our time will come in September when we have our REAL summer. While at home, I’ve had the chance to test out some ‘better for you’ products, and here are the ones that I’m adding to my favorites list.

Sallye Ander “No-Bite-Me” All Natural Bug Repellent & Insect Repellent – Anti Itch Cream
This natural multi-purpose bug repellent is the best one I’ve found to date! I really can’t stand the strong scent of citronella, so I love that cream has active ingredients including mint, lemongrass, and cedarwood. Not only does is smell nice, but it’s great to keep pesky mosquitos and biting flies away, but no synthetic fragrances added. It’s safe for kids, and bonus – if you DO get a bit, this cream helps take the itch out.
Truth be told, I would liberally apply this to my legs before I went outside in Florida, and it kept my legs moisturized and repelled bugs. I may have used more than I needed, but I really did enjoy the scent! You can find it on Amazon here.
