The warmer weather is FINALLY here, so I’ve been making my colorful, flavorful Berry Berry Zinger beverage. Pairing fresh seasonal strawberries with Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger tea creates a light and tangy berry-centric beverage to enjoy while cooling down. Pssst…add a little white wine to this recipe for guests 21 and over and create a fantastic cocktail without any added sugar!
Unlike plain teas, Celestial is a more flavorful tea that does not require any sweetening. Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger tea is flavorful, yet has 0 calories and 0 sugar so it’s the very best addition to my Berry Berry Zinger summer beverage.
You Will Need:
- Fresh Strawberries
- Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger Tea (4-5 tea bags)
- 4 cups of water – to make the tea ice cubes
- 2 cups of sparkling water to mix in OR for those 21 and up, add a white wine like Pinot Grigio of Chardonnay instead.
Make sure there is plenty of headspace in the blender when mixing with sparkling water.
How To Prepare:
Brew about 4 cups of Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger tea with about 4-5 tea bags so it’s very strong. Let the tea steep for at least 10 minutes.
Cool the tea and pour into ice cube trays or mini-muffin tins.
Freeze the tea cubes. Once frozen, I like to store them in a plastic container to keep them fresh and for easy access.
In a blender, add in 5-6 fresh strawberries, 4 tea ice cubes and sparkling water or chardonnay (about 2 cups)
Blend until smooth and top should be frothy.
Pour into a pretty glass and serve immediately. Best enjoyed poolside with friends!
It’s best to make this in small batches so they are icy and delicious.
