Halloween
House Party Decorating Idea - "Spooky
Farmhouse"
Alfred
Hitchcock's The Birds have nothing on you! Create your
own eerie presence by putting huge black crow silhouettes
in your windows. To make, take black plastic weed barrier
cloth and cut out bird silhouettes. Some can have just
feet, or a head shinning through. Then take red or green
light bulbs and replace in your household lighting. At
night your house will have an eerie glow, and the creepy
birds will shine through! You can also carry through
the look onto your doorway by buying black ravens, rats
and spiders at a halloween party store. If you plan on
visiting a pumpkin patch, bales of hay and corn stalks
are usually a better price there. These are great to
use in building up your spooky farmhouse entryway! Order

your children to a flower mart or nursery in
your area to see all of the flowers that are
blooming around Valentines Day. If you live
in a cold climate, nurseries and flower stores
have green houses that keep the flowers from
freezing.
