Christmas Recession: Cheap yet Cool Christmas Cards

Having said that, I do buy cards that are made from recycled paper, and always recycle afterwards. Try to stay away from the foil/shiny print cards, as those are typically not very recyclable.

For saving the most money on cards, the best option is to of course buy your cards right after Christmas in the 75% clearance sales. However, I was so fried last year, I didn't make it out to do this.

So, now my options are to make cards, which is fun, yet time consuming OR I can order some cool slick photo cards.

I figure if I make my own cards, I will spend about 10 minutes (min.) per card, and the paper cost will probably be around $1 per card plus my time.

The other option, is to order from an online holiday card printing company. There are some great options out there now, with SUPER cool, stylish cards, that are easy to customize.

Happy card making or shopping! Start that list now, and get them out early for a low-stress and low-cost holiday!
