- Unfortunately, hurricane Felix looks completely heinous. Tens
of thousands of people fled low-lying areas on Central America's
Caribbean coast on Monday to escape the powerful winds and torrential
rains of approaching Hurricane Felix. The highly dangerous Category 4 storm, due to make landfall on Tuesday
morning, charged toward Nicaragua and Honduras with top sustained
winds of 135 mph (215 kph), provoking fears of a repeat of Hurricane
Mitch, which killed some 10,000 people in Central America in 1998.

- How Low
Can TV Go ? I'm
not sure what these producers are going for anymore. If it's shock
factor, it seems like they have
already crossed that horizon. While CBS' "Kid
Nation" is
under scrutiny for its handling of underage performers, another broadcast
reality
series featuring even younger participants just wrapped production.
Like "Kid Nation," NBC's upcoming "The Baby Borrowers" was
shot in a state with relatively lenient child-labor laws that eased
shooting the series. "Borrowers," tentatively scheduled
to premiere midseason, filmed in Idaho this summer. The state has
the same labor-law exemption for entertainment productions involving
kids that allowed "Nation" to film in New Mexico last spring.
Note to Idaho - change your laws!

- Brad Pitt was attacked by some psycho in Italy! The
Daily Mail is reporting that Pitt, in Italy for the Venice
Film Festival, was surrounded by his security team when the
unnamed
fan barged her way through the crowd and attempted to embrace
the actor. "It was a scary moment. The security team must
have been embarrassed that she was able to get that close to
him. She could have been anyone," said one onlooker. " Brad
didn't look very happy about it all." Fortunately
for Pitt, the fan simply wanted to hug her favourite Hollywood
star rather than do anything more serious. As much fame, success,
and money that Brad has, I wouldn't trade places ever for that!!
