In honor of our week dealing with the swine flu here at our household, I sat down and made a 'pig and bacon' clock. The bacon was cooked with the high and consistent fever sustained for 3 days! Although in created jest, and from going slightly nuts by being cooped up for so many days, it is just an example of what you can make a clock out of. Clocks are easy craft projects and the hardware is very inexpensive.
